Life Science 194 – Teaching Practicum in Life Science (2 or 4 units)

Description:

1. Receive 2-4 units upper division life science credit.
2. Learn relevant educational techniques and skills.
3.Get experience teaching in front of other students.

Qualifications:

1. Completed Life Science 2 or Life Science 3 at UCLA with a grade of B or better.
2. Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.
3. Available for weekly meetings (TBD each quarter)
4. Be available to attend two 3-hour lab classes every other week.
5. Have a great love for teaching.

Physiological Science 196 – Laboratory Practicum in Systems Anatomy (3 units)

Description

2. Be nominated by the instructor and your TA from that quarter
3. Obtain a recommendation from your TA

5. Be available to attend one or two 3 hour lab sessions, and one 2 hour open lab/tutorial session per week
